1) First of all, you should start by listing 3 of your personal skills or talents that could help other people. For some, it might jump out at them and they’ll start making a huge list with no problem, but for others, you might have to take some time to think about this for a little bit.

It’s critical that you choose something that you’re actually interested in or you’ll lose your motivation. At first most people think of physical things like fixing cars or maybe a personal fitness trainer or something like that, but it doesn’t have to be anything physical at all.
Maybe you can turn you’re intellectual or emotional skills into cash. For example, some people are naturally talented with helping people then they grow to start helping troubled couples overcome their relationship problems.

So go ahead and write down 3 of your skills or talents and move on.

2) Secondly, once you’ve figured out what skills or talents you have that could help other people, you want to figure out, from the other person’s perspective, what it is that they need or want, how it makes them feel, and what the words are that they use to explain their problems.

I cannot emphasize enough how important this is, because if you could do this, and really focus on this step, then you could easily take what you know and turn it around so that you share it from the perspective that talks to your customers wants using the words they use.

This is a huge piece of the puzzle and it takes some time, but once you’ve figured out what other people want, then you can talk to your prospects and customers and share what you know from that perspective and it will be a lot easier to start making money as a result.

3) Finally, you’re not going to make any money if you don’t have anything to sell, so start by reviewing and recommending other people’s products that might help your prospect solve their problem.

To start recommending (or promoting) other people’s products, all you need is a simple website using WordPress blogging software and a few articles and reviews. It’s smart to speak directly to your prospects problems in the articles, then give them the solution their looking for in the product review.

If you’ve heard about affiliate marketing but don’t know where to get started, or even if you’ve had a little bit of experience, this article will explain a step-by-step process how easily you can write a killer product review by focusing on just 3 main parts of the review…

Here’s what you need to stay focused on:

1. Write a gripping headline to grab viewers and pull them into your review
2. Establish credibility and build interest your personal opinion of the product
3. End with a clear call to action to click your affiliate link and buy the product

Now let’s dig a little bit deeper and talk more about what you need to do to write a killer affiliate review that will make you some serious cash… So let’s start from the top!

Writing A Gripping Headline:

The headline is the most important piece of the puzzle, and here’s why: First of all, it’s the first thing the customer will read when they land on your page. Secondly, people are busy, and you only have a few seconds to capture their attention or they’ll turn around and leave you’re page in a flash!

So smart marketers have started using controversy and mystery to grab their reader’s attention, or by using fear to press a reader’s emotional hot buttons.

For example, your headline could say: “Don’t Buy [Product X] Until You Read This Entire Review…”

The whole ideas it to use the name of the product and ask an intriguing question that will keep the customer interested and make them want to read more. Once you’ve got their attention it’s much easier to lure readers to read the entire review to the end.

Establishing Credibility & Building Interest

The reader doesn’t have a clue who you are, and they’re not sure why they should be listening to your opinion of the product versus everybody else’s. The easiest way to overcome that challenge is to talk naturally about the pros and cons.

This method works great because readers like it when other people are honest and upfront with them, because that’s what friends do. The more you can actually help them figure out what’s good and bad about it, the better they’ll be able to make a decision.

For example, if your car was nearly out of gas and a friend asked to borrow it, you would have to tell them honestly “You can borrow my car, but it’s out of gas, so you’ll have to put your own gas in it.”

In this way, the person reading the review, like the person who wants to borrow your car, will be able to make their own decision and think about it – “Do I have the money to afford this or not?” You don’t have to tell them what to do, you put the controls in their hands.

Finally, End With A Clear Call To Action

Now that you’ve got the main body of your review, it’s time to wrap it up by writing a clear call to action. It’s important to repeat the pros and focus on the benefits the prospect will get from purchasing the product.

Make your call to action as clear as possible, tell them to click on your affiliate link, how to purchase the product, and what to do when they have it. Emphasize how important it is to act quick.

You can do this by using embedded commands to get readers to click on your link. For example, tell them “Your jaw will drop when you see his earnings, check it out on the next page.” This will make them curious to see what’s on the other side, and they’ll click your affiliate link and you get paid every time someone buys!

4 Web 2.0 Marketing Strategies You Can Use to Make Money TODAY!

There are so many different social networking sites, like MySpace, Facebook and Twitter, it can be hard to figure out which ones will generate the most sales and commissions to your affiliate account. In this blog I want to cover 4 completely different methods that you can use today to start making some extra money in these hard times.

1. Blogs are a great way to get targeted traffic to your affiliate campaign without hassling around with all the technicalities of building your own website. What’s even better is that blogs are highly search engine optimized, which means, unless you’re a php code-writing geek, a blog will do a much better job at getting recognized by the search engines, ranking higher than your webpage as a result.

If you don’t already have a blog, you should set one up right away because Google and other search engines love blogs! They’re often filled with highly-relevant, frequently-updated content that users are looking for, so Google users will be happy with the search results and continue using their services – it’s as a win-win situation for everyone.

I recommend using Google’s free blogging program called Blogger. You can setup as many blogs as you want using the same account, and if you’re already a Google user, it’s that much easier to get started. I’m not going to walk you through all the steps of setting up a blog, you can find dozens of videos how to do that. So let’s keep going…

2. Squidoo is another service, kind of like a blog, that allows you to create a free webpage that’s quick and easy to build, and doesn’t require any troublesome software or your own domain name or hosting account. Squidoo calls their webpages “lenses” but they’re the same thing. What’s great about Squidoo is that they don’t mind if you use their pages to promote, so you’re not going to get banned for creating an advertisement for your blog or other affiliate promotions using their service.

You can get started quickly by using their 5 step wizard, so I’m not going explain each step of the process. Instead, I’ll give you some times that will make your lens stand out from the competition and improve your search engine ranking at the same time. It starts with the right keywords, which I briefly mentioned earlier. Include your keywords in the headline and in the body of your lens. Provide valuable content, but make sure that it’s incomplete, leaving readers wanting more.

Now that you’ve provided the bait, you can lead your visitors over to your blog, which leads directly to your affiliate campaign. I recommend linking to your blog, rather than your own site or directly to the campaign, because the more links you have coming into your blog, the higher search engine ranking it will get, which means more traffic, more sales, and more commissions for you.

3. Social Bookmarking is a great way to get generate high-quality one-way incoming links to your website and build interest in the product you’re promoting at the same time. Social bookmarking sites like Digg, Delicious and StumbleUpon are extremely popular ways to save and share the pages that you’re interested in with others. They’re free to use and anyone can setup a bookmark in a matter of minutes.

Bookmarking your content is a great way to get recognized by the search engines because it generates one-way incoming links from popular bookmarking sites, which convinces Google and other search engines that your content is valuable and should get placed higher in the search results. That means you can get more organic search engine traffic for free than you could get paying hundreds of thousands of dollars to Google AdWords for the same results.

Ping Your Content because it’s the best way to let the search engines know that you’ve just added fresh new content online, and this tells them to go look at it and index it in their search results right away. Once again pinging your content is free to do, and it takes a matter of seconds. You can use PingOMatic to ping all the pages you’ve created including all your blog posts, your squidoo lens and social bookmarks, that way the search engines will be sure to find your content quickly. If nobody knows you’ve added new content online, then you’re not going to get visits or sales. Pinging your content is like putting up a flag that tells everyone to look at you, to make sure that your content is given a chance to be seen by the millions of internet users that surf the net each day.

There’s A LOT of valuable information in this post today, so I hope you’re as excited as I am! There are so many different affiliate programs online, it’s hard to decide which one to choose, and which one is right for you! To alleviate some of the pain in making a “good” decision, I’m going to dive right in to my newest article…

1. Choose a product that actually interests you

If you’re still struggling trying to find a product to promote, you should start by asking yourself “would I buy this?”

Read through the sales page, check out the materials, and honestly consider whether or not you would purchase the program yourself.  If it’s something that interests you, or if it even compels you to buy the product, then this is definitely an item worth looking into, and promoting to others!

You’d be surprised what kinds of products are out there! Everything from arts and entertainment, to languages, self-help, sports, travel… you name it!

That’s the great thing about being an affiliate! You can practically find anything you’re interested in and make money promoting it to other people with similar interests!

2. Choose a QUALITY product to promote

It’s easy to sign up with an affiliate network, like Clickbank, and start promoting any or all of the products in the market, but if you want to maintain long-term success, it’s crucial that you only promote high quality products that actually interest you, and that you would consider buying.

This way you have first hand experience to make an honest decision, whether or not the product is quality enough, or if you should ditch it and find something better. If you’re not sure, check out the reviews online and see what others have to say.

3. Choose only affiliate programs that offer VALUE

This one is similar to the previous one, but it’s different enough that I had to make it a separate bullet point for it. Anyone can hire a few people to write a professional sales page and create some professional graphics for their product… but whether or not the product is actually as valuable is another question.

Once again, check out the reviews and see what people say about the item, whether they love it or hate it. Whether it helped them to achieve their goals or not. If you see nothing but positive reviews of the product, it’s probably a good idea to try promoting that product as well!

4. Choose a product that caters to a growing target market

Put yourself in the right place at the right time, and find products that people will demand more and more in the coming months and years to come.

A good example of this would be any of the new Twitter products that have been released. Whether it’s software or information that shows people how to make money with twitter, a handful of really smart people realized that twitter was a growing market, and they made products that would continue to have demand in the future.

5. Choose a program with a residual income of 50% or more!

Of course, you can choose to promote any kind of product you want, however, if you promote membership websites, or anything that has a recurring monthly bill to the customer, that means you’ll also get a recurring monthly payment as an affiliate!

These kinds of programs exist, and they’re not hard to find! Look closely for one, but don’t waste your time with programs that do not reward you substantially for your efforts.

6. Choose a program with small minimum payouts…

Some affiliate programs impose certain conditions be met before you get paid. Often times, you’ll find a minimum payout condition, where you have to reach a certain amount of money in sales before they are willing to make your payment.

Beware of this, as sometimes it could cost you more in time and energy than you need to spend. Before you get started, at least be sure that you’ll be capable of reaching their requirements.

7. Promote a product that has plenty of tools and resources

Look for affiliate programs that come equipped with graphic images, banner advertisements, buttons, articles, reviews, blog posts, emails, signatures… You get the idea. The more tools they provide, the easier it is for you to do  your job as an affiliate. Otherwise it’s not worth it.

For some reason, even today, with affiliate marketing as profitable as it has become, many people still don’t provide tools or resources to their affiliates. This is essential for both you and the products you promote because you want to make money and help the business grow in the shortest possible time!

8. Choose an affiliate network that has trackable statistics

It would be a waste of your time to promote a product without being able to check out how well you’re doing at it. For instance, if you weren’t able to view your stats, you wouldn’t know how many visitors you had, how many sales you made, or how much beer to buy at the end of the night to celebrate!

To maintain a profitable internet business, you have to make sure you can track your success. Only promote products that use an affiliate network with great tracking and statistic updates.

9. Choose a program with high incentives for members

As long as the program offers good customer support, continuous help to customers and affiliates, or provides product upgrades, or some other sort of incentive, you can be sure that customers will renew their memberships each month.

This is great, because that means you’ll get paid a monthly commission each month, and the members who are paying you are happy to remain a member.

10. Be aware of the pros and cons and customer opinions

Check for the pros and cons on the sales page. You’re likely to find some positive testimonials on the sales page (of course), so do some research to find if anybody has any bad experiences with the product, or if there are any downsides involved.

Most importantly, it’s important to have a complete understanding of the affiliate program you want to promote to be sure that it will get you paid continuously, each month, on time, every time. Making yourself aware of the kinds of programs you are getting into will help you to anticipate and prevent any future problems you may encounter.

1. Setup a Defined Workspace for Yourself.

The best place is often a spare room that you can turn into your office, or maybe you have a little extra space in your bedroom, that will work fine too. Its important to keep in mind that your home office should be setup to allow you to work with little or no distractions.

Wherever you choose to setup your home office, it should be well-lit and ventilated with enough space to comfortably fit your other office gadgets. Once you’ve defined your work place, show it off to the other members of your household, but request of them not to bother you whenever you are working.

2. Determine your working hours.

Whether or not you’re working for yourself or for someone else, its important to keep track of the amount of time you work, and more importantly to choose what time of day you’ll be working. Pick the time when you are most productive, and use this time to make discipline yourself.

It’s important to stay focused during your work hours. Try not to jump up and leave the work your doing whenever you feel like it. Even though you’re not surrounded by a prying boss or other officemates, you should maintain a professional attitude about your work.

3. Set daily goals.

This is one of the most important things I could recommend to you. By setting daily goals you can help yourself identify the priorities in your life, and you can then begin to manage your time more wisely.

Before you get started working at your home office, write down 3 of your goals or highest leverage opportunities, and test yourself at the end of the day by checking off the items on the list you completed. If you don’t outline your daily goals, you might end up getting distracted, wandering through video sites, achieving absolutely nothing by the end of the day. Which leads us to the next topic…

4. Get away from online distractions.

The internet is changing fast, and now there are so many social networking sites, video & media sites, among so many other distractions online. Not only can these websites slow down your computer if used regularly, they can also eat away much of your precious time.

Consider this…
the full 30 minutes you spend watching a video online could possibly be the same amount of time you need to type one-thousands words – this could be an ebook, or an article, or a blog post for our business! You don’t want that kind of significant loss do you?

I’m not suggesting that you shouldn’t visit your favorite networking or media sites, however, there is a time for work, and a time for play. Make good use of your working hours and eliminate distraction in your day.

5. Plan Breaks Into Your Work Day.

The other side of the coin, which is another extreme tendency much like procrastinating, is overworking. If you work from home, you might find yourself working long hours into the night because its just within reach and its easier for you to spend time getting it done than relaxing, dreaming of your future.

Working too much is not the way to do it either, because this will burn your fuel and empty your energy reserves. Never push yourself around the clock, 7 days a week. Take days off during the week so you can relax, and plan breaks into your day so you never miss a healthy meal.

6. Get out regularly – socialize.

When you’re working at home by yourself online, it’s easy to get sucked into your goals and ambitions. Since your job now only involves you, a computer, and a virtual community, it’s important to get outside and exercise regularly. It’s equally important to socialize and connect with people often, as this will renew your energy supply and fill you with positive emotions.

For instance, you can have a movie date with your best friend, or go outdoors for a walk, hike, or bicycle ride. Never spend a whole week locked in your house, whether your behind your computer or not, find a way to spend at least one day away from home, and try to have fun!

7. Be True to Yourself.

Most importantly, remember to be true to yourself. Remember who you are at heart, and what you love to do. Keep up with your hobbies, and keep connection with your friends and your family.

Always take care of yourself first, and maintain your responsibilities to improve yourself and your success. Never let your physical healthy slip away because your mind wants more money. Always remain true to yourself and improve yourself first and your business will always improve with you.

While these guides can help you function well, much of your success in working online from home still depends on your perseverance, dedication, and patience. Get serious with your work online, and you’ll get some serious results!
